When selecting the font, special attention was paid specifically to the K and R. I went with this font for the unique K, whose angular arm and leg reminded me of the mechanical workings of a key and lock. The house and stone arch needed to feel friendly and neighborly, so I softened those elements by rounding the corners which also contrasts nicely with the sharp edges of the key.
Several different color options were created to give the client flexibility for all their upcoming signs, business cards, and flyers to help grow their business. A secondary logo was created using the client's initials wrapped in the key handle shape.
